About Us

Imperial Trailer Sales is a 4th generation family-owned business. We started in the 1940s as a service station and home heating oil business. From our own camping experiences, we got into selling used camping trailers during the 1950s. While working out of a gas station, we expanded into pop-up rentals in 1960. In 1968 we moved to our present location. In the late 1970’s we divested the oil businesses and concentrated on sales and service of RVs.

My name is Gary Connell and my sons and I make up Imperial Trailer Sales today. Imperial has always been a family owned and operated company. I have over 45 years of experience selling and servicing RVs. More importantly, I have even more years using them. You can be confident that with an RV purchased from Imperial you will get the most personalized attention in regard to service, preparation, and education/orientation.

Our showroom and service center were erected in 1968 and still stands strong today. We are located on 20 acres along Rt. 7 east of Troy, NY.

We also offer additional services such as outside storage and LP gas.
